My agent was Dominic. insurance carrier's was changed not by my choice...I was told no one else was in my group and I wasn't able to keep Ameri health. I was given Blue Cross &Shield of NJ. . I needed to keep my same dr's since I'd been injured in accident...and needed this care the rest of my life. Dominic went thru each Dr' with me on the phone... I was concerned to make sure they were in network. I STILL have that paper...as he assured me the dr's were in network I checked them off. My co-worker heard me talking to Dominic that day. as time went on...I kept getting refusal's to pay by BC&BS ...saying I needed a certificate to prove I had insurance prior to them. I don't remember getting anything like that so I called Dominic and that paper was sent to BCBS eventually. the bottom line is NONE of my DR's were in net work and when I called Dominic to ask him about it...he said I never did that for you...I do that for no one. Well after MANY appeals to BCBS of Nj and other agencies...I was left owing thousands!! I was told that if I had got it in writting ...I would have been able to make the person responsible pay this bill.
